The Femme Fanatique brand started in 2014 by making exclusively handmade shoes for tango. The tango crowd loved it almost immediately, and soon it was also worshiped by women looking for stylish designs with perfect fit and uncompromised comfort. After lengthy research and experimentation the special manufacturing technique of Femme Fanatique was developed and perfected, while new designs were added to the existing collection. All collections follow our unique technique that allows for maximum comfort even after many hours of dancing. All designs are designed for dancing or inspired by dance.

The need for the perfect pair of shoes during her first steps in tango led the designer Chloe Koromila in 2011 to discover the magical world of handmade shoes! Raised in an artistic environment, with a father who is an architect and a mother who is a decorator, Chloe began with Theatre Studies, but her love for creation and high aesthetics soon led her into the universe of fashion along with its fascinating fabrics, materials and colors. The Argentinian tango lessons she took gave her the idea to start the brand "Femme Fanatique" together with Emilia Kanta.

Inspired by famous and talented shoemakers such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Chloe began to study the history and progress of footwear over time, while spending most of her time learning all about the manufacturing and design process of shoes. Regular visits to major Italian fashion fairs expanded her horizons and she teamed up with specialized shoemakers, introducing high quality materials and leather developing special techniques to create the most comfortable high-heeled shoes!

Her designs are distinguished for their comfort, elegance and vintage style. Working with materials such as leather, satin and lace, Chloe designs unique sandals, peep toes, pumps and much more while never stopping the creation and experimentation with different techniques, new forms and innovative materials.
