About us
The Femme Fanatique brand started in 2014 by making exclusively handmade shoes for tango. The tango crowd loved it almost immediately, and soon it was also worshiped by women looking for stylish designs with perfect fit and uncompromised comfort. After lengthy research and experimentation the special manufacturing technique of Femme Fanatique was developed and perfected, while new designs were added to the existing collection. All collections follow our unique technique that allows for maximum comfort even after many hours of dancing. All designs are designed for dancing or inspired by dance.
Aimilia
Born in 1970 in Corfu, Aimilia Kanta studied graphic design at the University of West Attica.
From 1996 to 2000 she worked as an art director and then as a creative director in television. She taught graphic design and advertising in private and public vocational training institutes (IEK). In 2001 she founded the creative agency “Some Think Creative Group”, where she remains to this day, having won distinctions at the “Greek Graphic Design and Illustration Awards” (EVGE) and other competitions. During 2010-2012 she served as the General Secretary of the Greek Graphic Designers Association. In 2011 she participated in the EVGE awards as a member of the jury in the categories of Graphic Design. In 2013 -2014 she was Partner and Managing Director of Design Lobby Greece. In 2014 she and Chloe Koromila founded “‘Femme Fanatique”’, where she holds the position of Managing Director.
