1. How are the shoes made?

Every pair of our shoes are all handmade by our expert shoemakers with intense care, and extreme patience. You can find out more about our process here.

 

2. Where are the shoes made?

The shoes are handcrafted in Athens, Greece by traditional shoemakers, with years of expertise. You can learn more about the way we craft our products here.

 

3. How should I care for my shoes?

Keep your leather shoes protected from humidity and direct heat or sunlight (stored in their box or bag if possible). Change their soles when needed so as not to damage the leather or destroy the heels. Clean them using a slightly wet soft cloth and sweep them gently with a dry one letting them breath for a couple of hours before reuse or restore. Be extra careful when cleaning your suede shoes especially those having a pattern on the suede. Brush them extremelly carefully using a soft brush (special for suede) because rough sweeping may damage their pattern. For professional care make sure to consult your shoe-repair expert for his services and for the best product suitable for each type of leather.

 

4. What materials are used?

We always use genuine leather and high quality textiles, combining them to provide a rich collection of textures and luxury finishes for different designs. Being a natural material, real leather is soft on the skin, but also very durable when cared for properly. Read more about the materials we use here.

 

5. What are your available heel heights?

We try to have 2 heel-heights available for each design and for the majority of the models that is the case. Heel heights include mid heels (7.5-8cm) and high heels (9.5-10.5cm). We do not use platos in our constructions.

 

6. In what sizes are your shoes available?

The sizes available are: 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41 in EU numbers

 

7. How do I find the right size?

If you’re unsure of how our shoes might fit you, you can measure your feet in order to ensure a better fit.

Place a large piece of paper on a solid floor surface. Step on the paper with both feet in a parallel position and close together, balancing your weight appropriately.

Using a pencil design the outline of your feet (n.b. the pencil should be vertical to the paper). Measure the length of your outline (from your heel to your biggest toe, or whichever toe is longer). Detract 2-4mm in order to account for the pencil outline width.

To calculate the width you must first identify the part of your foot that comprises the widest part of your outline. Lift your foot a few centimeters above the surface and by using a measure calculate the perimeter of the “waist” of that part.

If you can’t find an exact match with our size guide, round up your measurements to the nearest available number.

Always keep in mind that leather shoes tend to stretch slightly after the first use, so it should be fit tightly when you buy it.

Attention! The size chart contains approximate measurements, based on average shoe sizes and should only be used as a guide.

 

8. What if the shoes don't fit me properly?

We are very sorry that your shoes do not fit you well and we will be happy to help you solve the problem.

If they fit too loosely or come off, we suggest that you try resolving the problem by inserting an insole; this simple trick often helps you to regain as much as a half size.
If they are too narrow, take them to a reliable shoemaker, who can widen them with the use of a special last. Also in this case it is possible to recover up to a half size.

In this case we will be happy to refund you for this operation with a voucher for a maximum of € 15 to spend on your next order. Just send an email with a description of the problem and a copy of the receipt for the alteration.

 

9. How much does shipping cost?

Delivery in GREECE is free of charge

Standard Shipping for EU countries is €15.

International Shipping for all other locations is €25.

 

10. How long does it take you to deliver my order?

All items sold are handmade, therefore orders should arrive within 2-4 weeks after we have received payment but may vary, depending on the destination. Femme Fanatique is NOT responsible for any delays of your package during delivery.  

 

11. Can you guarantee that my parcel is not lost or damaged during delivery?

Femme Fanatique will provide upon request the tracking number and contact information for the shipping company if needed. Once this information is provided to you, it is your responsibility as the customer to contact and deal with the shipping company. We do not claim any responsibility for packages lost by the shipping company. Read our Payment/Delivery/Return/Refund Policy if you have more questions on the subject.

 

12. What payment methods do you accept?

Purchases made through our online store are secured through trusted internet payment processing gateways: PayPal and Viva Payments. We accept all major credit/debit cards. All personal debit and credit card information transmitted are handled PayPal’s and Viva Payments’ secure connections. We maintain none of your payment information. All personal contact information transmitted to us will not be shared, sold or solicited. Read our Privacy Policy if you have more questions on the matter.

 

13. Is every design I see on your store always available?

We try our best to keep our store as up to date as possible. There is always a possibility the ordered item(s) appearing available to be sold out in a desired size and/or color combination. In this case, we will refund your money should your payment have already been made.
